A Passion Project and The Nightcap
Dr. Bawa: Welcome to the Dr. Sex Fairy Podcast. I am Dr. Kanwal Bawa, America's favorite sex doctor, and I am here to transform your life. Thank you for making this podcast one of the top 2% of all podcasts across all categories worldwide. The Dr. Sex Fairy Podcast is truly a passion project. I decided to take the stigma out of sex and sexuality and to have a frank but respectful discussion. And clearly, my mission has resonated with you all over the world. If you don't already follow this podcast, make sure you follow it now. There are many great episodes coming your way. Consider the first 50-something episodes just a warm-up. The Dr. Sex Fairy podcast and I are making waves. I was recently invited to appear on The Nightcap, a late-night talk show on FOX 26 in Houston, hosted by Carolina Sanchez. We discussed Big Dick Energy. It was a great discussion.
Dr. Bawa: I am going to play you part of that interview. Make sure you stick around because we will be joined by Carolina Sanchez herself.
The Nightcap: Sexual Wellness and Sexual Function
Carolina Sanchez: Joining me here on the couch is Dr. Kanwal Bawa. And she is the Dr. Sex Fairy that you see on TikTok taking over. And she's all over the podcast, right, babe?
Dr. Bawa: That's right.
Carolina Sanchez: My God, you know all about this, because you're the sexual wellness expert, basically, right?
Dr. Bawa: I am. I am redefining the field of sexual wellness the world over.
Carolina Sanchez: What exactly does that mean? Why do people come to you? What are they looking for?
Dr. Bawa: People come to me because I make dreams come true. I give them a level of sexual wellness and function that they didn't even know could exist.
Carolina Sanchez: Are people basically unaware that things are wrong? Do they think they're in a normal state and then they see your videos and they're like, oh, this isn't normal and it can be fixed? Or are people aware that they have some problems?
Dr. Bawa: I think it's both. When they come to me, many of them aren't even aware of how much their sexual function has declined over the years. So some of them have accepted that there is some loss of function, but even they don't always realize how much. Right. And also many of them are coming because their partner's bringing them in.
Carolina Sanchez: Is that how it's going?
Dr. Bawa: Yes. In fact, I have a couple that comes to me—their story has made headlines around the world—Jim and Cindy. They came to me when she was 70 and he was 69. They were a new couple. They had just begun dating, and they had desire for each other, but not so much sexual function. They weren't on fire in the bedroom.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh, you helped them out?
Dr. Bawa: Oh my goodness, I was invited to their wedding. They're now having sex twice a day.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh! Sometimes they have nooners.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh, hell yes! Okay. So you have success. But what led you to this? Because from what I read about you, I mean you started as an ER doctor, trained at the Cleveland Clinic. How did you transition?
From Emergency Medicine to Sexual Wellness
Dr. Bawa: Well, you know, like you said, I am a board-certified ER doctor originally, and I saw all kinds of sexual dysfunction in the ER. From 20-year-olds complaining that they couldn't get erections to 50-year-old men coming in with priapism, which in English means an erection that won't go away. Because the easiest Band-Aid to the problem of erectile dysfunction is often the blue pill, gas station pills, any kind of pill.
Carolina Sanchez: Yes.
Dr. Bawa: And also there are these shots that men give themselves at home to get an erection. And what they can do is give you an erection that doesn't go away. Well, initially the man thinks his dreams have come true.
Carolina Sanchez: Right.
Dr. Bawa: But then he realizes maybe there's a bit of a problem because it's not going away.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh yeah. And now what?
Carolina Sanchez: So what happens if it doesn't go away?
Dr. Bawa: Well, bad things happen. Most of the time they come in many, many hours later. When they tell you four hours of an erection is a problem, they mean that. They're not joking.
Carolina Sanchez: Like, do you have to cut it off sometimes?
Dr. Bawa: I've had to cut open penises to drain them.
Carolina Sanchez: What? Oh my God.
Dr. Bawa: And not only is the doctor traumatized, the patient's traumatized, the spouse is traumatized. It's a mess. And after doing this for as many years as I did, I knew I had to do something to help men change this problem and do so without these drugs.
Carolina Sanchez: Yeah, absolutely. Okay, so what are you offering now?
Dr. Bawa: I am offering so much. I offer men erectile dysfunction treatments. I offer them bigger penises, non-surgically at that. So big changes have been happening thanks to my practice, Bawa Medical.
Carolina Sanchez: So you give are you doing shots? Are you doing like silicone? What are you doing to enlarge these?
BawaBig and Non-Surgical Penis Enlargement
Dr. Bawa: Silicone is actually not a good idea for enlargement.
Carolina Sanchez: Okay.
Dr. Bawa: But what I'm doing for enlargement is a combination. I came up with the BawaBig procedure.
Carolina Sanchez: And—yes, yes, yes—BawaShot, baby.
Dr. Bawa: BawaShot is different.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh, okay. I'm sorry.
Carolina Sanchez: You've got all yes, brand yourself, honey. Okay, so what do you do?
Dr. Bawa: So the enlargement is where I am helping men develop more collagen over time. And then I also give them immediate improvement with their size. So it's not only instant gratification, but long-term improvement. Non-surgically.
Carolina Sanchez: Yeah, yeah.
Carolina Sanchez: Yeah, because it's surgical, you would assume there's permanent, but there may be some like side effects that happen.
Dr. Bawa: You know, nerve damage, infections, loss of function. It's a real thing.
Carolina Sanchez: Yeah.
Dr. Bawa: And then, you know, I hate to get graphic, but men get these implants put in. And then the girlfriend doesn't really want to give them a blowjob because it feels funny.
Carolina Sanchez: So it defeats the purpose. Yeah, it's like you went through the surgery only to not get pleasure from. She's like, I'm not into this. Oh wow.
Dr. Bawa: So taking care of men helps with that problem, to make them feel more normal.
Carolina Sanchez: Okay, so then what is the BawaShot?
What Is the BawaShot?
Dr. Bawa: The BawaShot is where we're doing it for function. The BawaBig procedure is for size; the BawaShot is for function, and I do it for men and women—to help men get harder, better erections, and women need to be more orgasmic, my friend.
Carolina Sanchez: So how does this work?
Dr. Bawa: It helps by taking your growth factor—you know, just a blood draw like any other in the lab—and we spin it down in our lab and use your growth factor to stimulate your stem cells.
Carolina Sanchez: But where are you injecting? And is it painful?
Dr. Bawa: It's not painful. Not when I do it.
Carolina Sanchez: Okay, hey. You are the Dr. Sex Fairy.
Dr. Bawa: I am Dr. Sex Fairy.
Carolina Sanchez: Okay, so where are you injecting, though?
Dr. Bawa: For a woman, in her clitoris and her vagina. But it doesn't hurt, I promise.
Carolina Sanchez: That's really hard to believe, girl.
Dr. Bawa: Come on over to Boca Raton and I'll show you.
Carolina Sanchez: My producer, Javi, is telling me that I need to go do this, and I am not volunteering. And for men?
Dr. Bawa: For men, it's into the penis.
Carolina Sanchez: Straight into the penis. And is it painful for them?
Dr. Bawa: No.
Carolina Sanchez: Okay. So do people come back? Like, how long does this last?
Dr. Bawa: This lasts a while. So this long-term improvement.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh, that's phenomenal. All right, so now let's get into the topic of tonight: BDE. Big Dick Energy. What does that mean for you?
What Is Big Dick Energy?
Dr. Bawa: For me, Big Dick Energy is that unshakable confidence a man has, you know, when he struts his stuff, when he goes out into the world and he knows he owns it.
Carolina Sanchez: Yeah.
Dr. Bawa: When a man can go out there and know he's bigger, better, and better than everyone else. You know, that's Big Dick Energy to me.
Carolina Sanchez: So how does that associate with actually having a big package?
Dr. Bawa: A big package makes men more confident. Because I don't care what anybody says, size matters. And the studies prove it. I know it's not always politically correct to say this because we're all supposed to be happy with our size, but, you know, there is such a thing as small dick energy.
Dr. Bawa: Welcome, Carolina. It's so great to have you on the Dr. Sex Fairy Podcast.
Carolina Sanchez Joins the Podcast
Carolina Sanchez: Thank you so much for having me. I'm so excited.
Dr. Bawa: That was a great discussion.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh, yeah. I mean, you're you're definitely a fan favorite. I mean, you are so professional in talking about such what people would consider a taboo topic, even though it shouldn't be taboo. I mean, it's so stigmatized, it's ridiculous. But you're very professional and you're witty as ever, and you know what you're talking about. You have BDE, ma'am.
Dr. Bawa: Thank you. I take that as a huge compliment. Thank you. Coming from you especially. It was great talking to you, and I'm glad that your viewers liked my episode because I really strive to help people live their best life. And having good intimate intimate sexual wellness and pleasure is part of that, right?
Carolina Sanchez: Absolutely. And I feel like people need to talk about it in order to have the best intimate and sex life. If they don't talk about it, if they don't communicate the issues that they're having, then they're not gonna achieve the best. And if they're open and honest and are willing to take the information that you're providing and address it and maybe seek you for the help, I mean again you would be helping them reach their best life that involves that intimacy and sex boo-boo.
Dr. Bawa: That's right. Sex boo-boo.
BawaBig vs. BawaShot
Carolina Sanchez: For me, like what I what I really wanted to get into and we didn't get to do on the show is like I'm not entirely sure about the difference between the BawaBig and the BawaShot. So if I'm a guy who is maybe a little bit self-conscious about his package, w what would I be coming to you for?
Dr. Bawa: Well, like I said to you on the TV episode of The Nightcap, I make dreams come true. So I help men not only have the function of their dreams, but the size of their dreams as well. Now I can't always achieve both with one procedure, that's why I have two. So firstly, there is BawaBig. BawaBig is my particular technique for doing non-surgical penis enlargement. What I do there is that I am helping a man increase his size without a penis implant, without surgery, without nerve damage, and I actually make him better because what I'm doing is a two-part procedure. Firstly, I am increasing the collagen in his penis. Because you know, as you get older, you're losing collagen just about everywhere. Your skin is sagging on your face, your butt's going south, and then of course the penis shrinks. And you know, for us women, even our clitoris shrinks over time.
Dr. Bawa: So shrinkage is a big problem. So when a man's penis starting to shrink, he's losing confidence. He's thinking, what the hell is happening down there? And he's not as comfortable with himself, and certainly not in front of a woman or a partner in general. So with BawaBig, I use a patient's own blood, spin it down into platelet-rich plasma, and I'm using that in conjunction with hyaluronic acid fillers, which the body makes naturally anyway. Your body has hyaluronic acid in it, but again over time it has less. So I am using what is natural to the body to increase the size of a penis. So a man not only has a bigger penis, he has a healthier penis. You see?
Carolina Sanchez: Right, because it's all natural from himself.
Dr. Bawa: Yes. So the collagen he's forming is going to help him in the long run. And most people don't think that penis enlargement could actually be good for you. And usually it isn't. Traditional penis enlargement is not good for you. There's a lot of risk associated with it.
Traditional Penis Enlargement and Implants
Carolina Sanchez: And can I ask you that? What is traditional? When people think of penis enlargement, obviously they're not immediately thinking of BawaBig, but we're trying to change that, right? We want them to think about BawaBig.
Dr. Bawa: Yes.
Carolina Sanchez: But they are thinking about the one that's not good for you. So what does that one entail?
Dr. Bawa: Well, the more traditional way of doing it is an implant. And what happens with that is what happens is you you're getting a surgical procedure in this case where they're putting you under anesthesia, they're doing it like regular surgery because it is a major surgery. So they cut the penis, they insert the implant, and they stitch it back up again. Think about breast implants. There's damage done there, right? When we women are getting breast implants but very often they're losing nipple sensation because nerves get cut. So how can you assume that if you put a penis implant in you won't lose some sensation? Right. But nobody thinks of that.
Carolina Sanchez: And the whole point is to to make their sex lives better. And if you're losing sensation, like that's not worth it then, in my opinion.
Dr. Bawa: It defeats the purpose. Now I'm not saying that it happens to all the men, but if it happens to you, that's one too many, right?
Penuma, Sensation, and Implant Concerns
Carolina Sanchez: Right.
Penuma, Sensation, and Implant Concerns
Dr. Bawa: Absolutely. So what I do actually helps increase sensation. So it's the exact opposite. And there's one currently it's called Penuma, it's all the rage. people come to my office, they're like, Doctor, will you put a Penuma in me? Can you do this? Can you do that? And I say, No, why do you want that? And then when I explain this to them, then they understand why this actually better for them. The other thing is, and we went into this briefly on the episode on TV, is that you can feel the damn implant. So it's not sexy to a woman who's trying to give a man a blowjob to be feeling that in her mouth. And so, as I mentioned, it can feel unnatural. Yes, and so these men come in, poor things, saying, I got an implant to improve my sex life, but now she doesn't want anything to do with it because it doesn't feel right.
Carolina Sanchez: And can people come to you for reversal or do you not offer that?
Dr. Bawa: I don't offer that because again, to take it out is another major surgical procedure.
Carolina Sanchez: And it's another surgery, right. And you're trying to avoid that altogether.
Dr. Bawa: I'm trying to avoid that altogether. So for the men who have it already, what I do is I get around it by adding volume on top of it. So my goal is to make the implant less palpable so people don't feel it as much.
Carolina Sanchez: Gotcha.
Dr. Bawa: So I will help build collagen. Yeah, I'll help build collagen on top of it. I will help you know, put some filler on top of it. So different ways depending on how much you can feel, because for some guys it's very palpable, for some guys it's even visible.
Carolina Sanchez: Wow.
Dr. Bawa: You can see the line.
Carolina Sanchez: Oh wow.
Dr. Bawa: Mm-hmm. Because it's like a cylinder, you know.
BawaShot for Function
Carolina Sanchez: Or at least make it better, my goodness. So is that part of the BawaShot, or what exactly is the BawaShot?
Dr. Bawa: The BawaShot is for function. So remember we talked about the two main things men are looking for. They want size and they want good function. So size is BawaBig, function is the BawaShot. So with that I'm using, you know, the same idea of building collagen, building elastin, helping your nerve endings become more sensitive. So this one is injected inside the penis. BawaBig is in the outer layers of the penis. With the BawaShot, we are injecting your growth factors into you and stimulating your stem cells. So when that happens to a man, he ends up basically with a younger penis from the inside out. And that's and that then helps his function, it helps his sensation. And I have been told by some patients anecdotally that it helped their size as well. But I don't think that's ever going to be comparable to a BawaBig procedure. It just can't be.
Dr. Bawa: But men have noticed at least some increase in size in many cases.
How Common Is Erectile Dysfunction?
Carolina Sanchez: Wow. I don't know how many men I don't know if you've actually looked at the stats on this because maybe some men aren't that forthcoming, but how common is ED, erectile dysfunction?
Dr. Bawa: Erectile dysfunction is actually very, very common. Erectile dysfunction goes up about 10% for every decade of life. Oh wow. Oh yes. Erectile dysfunction is 20% of men in their twenties. Isn't that wild?
Carolina Sanchez: That's insane.
Dr. Bawa: Nobody thinks that.
Carolina Sanchez: I wouldn't think that a at 20 something would be suffering from ED.
Dr. Bawa: Oh yes, they are. Yes. 40% of 40 year olds, 50% of 50 year olds.
Carolina Sanchez: And up and up.
Dr. Bawa: And up and up.
Carolina Sanchez: So do you actually see the the the array of ages coming to you for help?
Dr. Bawa: I have men in their twenties and I have men in the 80s.
Carolina Sanchez: Wow.
Dr. Bawa: I have everybody. I may even have a couple in the nineties. Why shouldn't a 90-year-old be getting it on? He has every right to have good sex.
Seeking Help at Any Age
Carolina Sanchez: Absolutely. Everyone has a right to have good sex. I mean they just have to seek out you to help if they're having any issues. I think at the end of the day, like if you're not being honest with yourself and not having the conversations and doing the you know the inner work of like, you know, this a fixable problem if I if I try to look for the solution, if I admit to myself that I have an issue, right? that there is a solution for them out there. And out there I mean Florida.
Dr. Bawa: Yes, and not just Florida. I have more men flying to me from other states than are coming to me from within Florida. So my message has literally reached people around the world, and I have people flying to me from all over the US, from Canada, from Europe, from Australia, from Africa. It's it's almost turned into a movement.
Carolina Sanchez: Wow. And it's great. I mean, that means your message is definitely resonating, right? And you're reaching people, especially with with this podcast. I mean, hello, you're off the charts. And people are, you know, willing to address the issues they have in order to have the best sex life, intimate life they can with your solutions. That's awesome.
Confidence and Big Dick Energy
Dr. Bawa: And, you know, it gives them you know big dick energy in its truest sense because it gives them confidence. And big dick energy is about so much more than just penis size, really.
Carolina Sanchez: Right. It's about as you said on the show, like it's you know, the package helps, right? It helps. It definitely means more than having a package, but the package certainly helps.
Dr. Bawa: Oh, the package certainly helps.
Carolina Sanchez: The fact that you're providing something that people are so stigmatized by. Or like I don't want to say stigmatized because that might not be the word, but they might make fun of men who undergo a penis enlargement. or they might make fun of men for having erectile dysfunction, especially if they're in their twenties. I mean, it's it seems like it just carries such a shameful cloud with that. And so you are able to give a solution so people don't have to suffer through the awful humiliation of having these problems. But you know, it's like women, like women who who are flat chested and are very self-conscious about it and people make fun of them or they have bigger bodies that they're ashamed of, even though we should all love our bodies as they are.
Carolina Sanchez: If it is something that is causing you to not have that confidence, to not have that self-worth, if there's something out there that can provide you that, like women who get like a mommy makeover after having three babies or something, men can now go get a BawaShot or a BawaBig and fix that problem.
Why Male Enhancement Should Not Be Shameful
Dr. Bawa: Yes. And you know, I'm glad you brought that up because I've spoken about this often because it's okay for a woman to go get a breast implant, but it's not okay for a man to get a BawaBig. I mean, isn't that hypocritical? We've normalized that discussion about women and mommy makeovers. So why should a man not get support from the people around him if he wants this? It's very hush-hush, you know, very clandestine for some men. They come, they get it, and wink wink, I'll see them at the Boca Mayor's ball, or I'll meet them, you know, at the grocery store, and they just smile. They're just so happy to see me, but they won't dare admit what they had done with me.
Carolina Sanchez: Right.
Dr. Bawa: And I can understand.
Carolina Sanchez: A woman would like shout out, you know, Dr.
Dr. Bawa: Miami. Yeah, look at these tatas.
Carolina Sanchez: Yeah, yeah. And yeah, but it's it's because not because they're so ashamed of getting it, right? Because they must be so proud now with their new package. It's just because of the perception from the rest of the public of like, oh, you had to do that.
Dr. Bawa: And you're not man enough, you know, you weren't man enough without it. But he was man enough with it and without it. And why should that even be an issue? Why is that even a discussion? Nobody says to a woman, hey, weren't you woman enough? You needed big breasts. I mean, that's just silly talk. But you know, I'm so glad that at the Nightcap, you are allowing people like me to have these discussions with the world because you gave me a platform to discuss this openly on network television.
Taking Sexual Wellness Mainstream
Carolina Sanchez: And we have people reach out to us in our DMs, and it's like, okay, so this actually resonates with people. These are people who are like, okay, where is this doctor? Where can I find this doctor? And we're just like, at Dr. Sex Ferry, at Dr. Baba Koble. Like all of the handles. She's everywhere. You will find her.
Dr. Bawa: I am everywhere. Do you know my TikTok is so wild right now? It's well over 70 million views. I can't even keep up with it anymore. Yeah, it's so great.
Carolina Sanchez: I mean that's how you get the message, the good word out.
Dr. Bawa: And the podcast. I mean, these were literally passion projects. It's so lovely to see it become what it has. Because it was just me and a mic. And I started talking. And you know, I built it and they came.
Carolina Sanchez: And you have a velvety voice. Has anybody told you that? Like it's a nice voice.
Dr. Bawa: Well, thank you. If this whole doctor thing doesn't work out, maybe I'll have a Howard Stern type show.
Carolina Sanchez: There you go. There you go.
Dr. Bawa: You know, Howard. Yeah, Howard, come on. Call me on your show. Enough is enough.
Carolina Sanchez: Enough is enough.
Dr. Bawa: Enough is enough. Wouldn't he love me? I think Howard Stern would love me.
Carolina Sanchez: I think so. Absolutely.
Dr. Bawa: That would be good.
Carolina Sanchez: So if Robin ever takes like a vacation of some sort, you should be the fill-in.
Dr. Bawa: There you go. There you go. There's a thought. I need to get PR right on that one.
The Orgasm Gap and Shared Responsibility
Carolina Sanchez: Absolutely. Call him up. Obviously, we love having you on The Nightcap. I mean, we didn't just do BDE. You also came and did the orgasm gap, which was such a shock to me. So please, any other topics you want to come on the show for, please do.
Dr. Bawa: Well, thank you. It was a great discussion. The entire discussion we had about the orgasm gap. And I definitely want to discuss that again. And so I will invite you right back onto the Dr. Sex Fairy podcast. And you know, we should play a clip from that show. And you need to come back. Heck yeah. And then we'll talk about that. Because the orgasm gap is such a big problem. And that's something that men and women alike need to know about. Because if the women aren't enjoying sex, the guys aren't getting any. So the guys need to help the women overcome that orgasm gap if they ever want to have the sex of their dreams, right?
Carolina Sanchez: Absolutely. And then you also put it on the women too. That's what I loved about it. You were just so honest. You're like, it's not just on the men at the end of the day, although the men play a huge factor. Women also need to know what they want and what pleasures them in order to help their partner fulfill those needs. And it's like, damn, you know, like we love pointing the finger at each other, but really at the end of the day, it's up to both.
Communication, Pleasure, and The Nightcap
Dr. Bawa: Absolutely. I mean, we are responsible for our own pleasure. And if we fake it, how do we ever expect to make it, right? So it has to be one of those things where women have to be honest. A man can't read your mind, sisters. I mean, come on. So don't expect him to read your mind. Don't be passive aggressive, don't deny him sex because you're not being honest with him and helping him pleasure you. So such an important discussion, and we'll bring you back for that one. But I know people want to know where to find that really cool show, The Nightcap. So where can they find this great late night TV talk show?
Carolina Sanchez: Well, I mean, we're on fox26houston.com, but we're we have our own playlist on YouTube. we are on FOX Soul, so that's basically on any smart TV. And if they want to find us on social media, just at the Nightcap, they can find us.
Dr. Bawa: Thank you so much for coming. Such a great discussion, as always.
Carolina Sanchez: Absolutely. Thank you so much for having me. I can't wait to come back.
