From Moral Eroticism to Bliss
Dr. Bawa: Welcome to the Friday episode of the Dr. Sex Fairy podcast. I am Dr. Kanwal Bawa, America's favorite sex doctor, and I am here to transform your life. On Fridays we discuss the Bawa Sutra, my interpretation of the ancient text the Kama Sutra. Last week we discussed the idea of moral eroticism, and the idea that true sexual and spiritual awakening come when people function within a moral, non-promiscuous framework. And mind you, an ethical way of life does not mean that you have a boring sex life. Quite the opposite! If you did not hear that episode, do check it out after you finish this episode.
What the Kama Sutra Says About Bliss
Dr. Bawa: Today we are discussing the concept of bliss. The Kama Sutra says: “Born of bliss, all things and all living creatures live in bliss and dissolve in bliss. Bliss is everything. The instrument for measuring success or failure in life is happiness.”
Dr. Bawa: I could not agree more. I want you to stop for a second and ask yourself if you are truly happy… Happy with work… happy with your relationship… or happy being single… Ask yourself if you are truly happy with your sex life. And then I want you to ask yourself what you can do today to start living a life of bliss. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither will a blissful life, but you can start changing your life one baby step at a time. Slowly but surely…
What Needs to Change?
Dr. Bawa: Are you stuck in a dead end job that makes you hate your life? Think about your skill set. Is there something else you could be doing? Does your partner not seem interested in sex? Have you asked why? Maybe her vagina hurts. Maybe he is embarrassed to admit that he cannot maintain an erection long enough. Maybe there is a simple solution that an expert sexual medicine doctor like me can provide. Maybe they need sex therapy… Nothing will change, until something changes.
Committing to a More Blissful Life
Dr. Bawa: Bliss takes work, ladies and gentlemen. Are you ready to commit to a more blissful life? Until next time.
