[00:08] The Bawa Sutra and the Importance of Foreplay

Dr. Bawa: Welcome to the Friday mini-episode of the Dr. Sex Fairy Podcast. We are discussing the Bawa Sutra, my modern-day take on the ancient text the Kama Sutra. I am Dr. Kanwal Bawa, America’s favorite sex doctor and I am here to transform your life. Every Friday we discuss one topic out of the Kama Sutra. My Tuesday episodes, which are longer, are about topics such as erectile dysfunction, penis enlargement, vaginal rejuvenation, orgasms, and more.

Dr. Bawa: The Kama Sutra says that embraces and caresses must be exchanged before sex so that the couple can experience feelings of pleasure… It talks about the importance of flirtation and foreplay several times.

[01:02] Foreplay Begins Outside the Bedroom

Dr. Bawa: Ladies and gentlemen, foreplay does not begin in the bedroom. Flirtation outside the bedroom is an important part of foreplay. A note left hidden in your partner's car, a naughty text, a glance across a crowded room… Wear sexy underwear, or none at all.

Dr. Bawa: These are the things that will get your partner thinking about you. You need to do this consistently. You can't just do it right before you start grabbing at them demanding sex. The idea is to build affection and sexual tension all at once, and to ease into foreplay, which will then lead the way to great intercourse.

[01:55] Finding Your Partner’s Erogenous Zones

Dr. Bawa: When it comes to foreplay, don't forget your partner’s erogenous zones. But first, what are these? Simply put, erogenous zones are the parts of the body that feel good. We immediately think of the penis and vagina, but these are just the tip of the iceberg.

Dr. Bawa: Other erogenous zones include the nape of the neck, ears, the underarm, the back of the knee, inner thighs, and even your fingers. Considering the fact that the fingers are one of the most sensitive parts of our body, it is a shame that partners seldom stimulate each other’s hands. The next time you’re with your partner, slowly caress their fingertips… and see what happens.

[02:48] Experimenting With Pleasure

Dr. Bawa: We all deserve pleasure… lots of pleasure… and I am telling you about these areas on your partner so that you can try to stimulate them… Talk to your partner about experimenting with each other’s erogenous zones. If your partner isn’t big on talking about these topics, just show and tell in bed!

Dr. Bawa: Put an ice cube in your mouth and run it down your partner’s body, especially their pleasure spots. Don’t underestimate the power of a sex toy, and not just for women.

[03:23] Why Women Often Need More Foreplay

Dr. Bawa: An important point to remember is that a woman needs more foreplay than the average man. If you give her 20 minutes or more of foreplay, she will be wetter and more orgasmic.

Dr. Bawa: Basically, the more attention you give your partner in intimate ways both inside and outside the bedroom, the more your partner will want to pleasure you. Be generous, and your partner will repay you in kind, because giving is receiving.

[03:52] Building a Stronger Sexual Connection

Dr. Bawa: A strong sexual connection can be magical, and by following my tips I know that you can get there. Don’t forget to share this episode with your partner and friends! Pleasure for everyone!! Until next time.
