Dr. Bawa: Welcome to another episode of Dr. Sex Fairy. I'm Dr. Kanwal Bawa, and I am here to transform your life. Our topic today is penis enlargement frequently asked questions. Why, you ask? Well, because there are questions that I am asked about penis enlargement every single day. These are the same questions you want answers to but are too embarrassed to ask.

Dr. Bawa: Let's start with the most common question about penis enlargement: how can I make my penis bigger? There are various ways advertised online. You can even see an array of male performance and enhancement products at gas stations. There is a massive industry dedicated to these products, but I promise you that none of these products are going to help you get a bigger penis or better erections, and certainly not safely.

[01:06] Surgical vs. Nonsurgical Penis Enlargement

Dr. Bawa: Penis enlargement essentially comes down to two methods. The first is surgical penis enlargement. This involves putting either silicone or metal into your penis. The penis is cut open and an implant is placed.

Dr. Bawa: This means that you have a permanent erection. While this may sound awfully attractive initially, imagine walking around that way all day, every day. It would get in the way of life itself. You can also get an inflatable pump inserted, but it is a nightmare to use these.

Dr. Bawa: Remember, all these surgical options carry with them a risk of nerve damage and permanent erectile complications, which kind of defeats the purpose. They are mostly used due to erectile dysfunction itself that does not respond to standard treatments. They are not meant for penis enlargement.

Dr. Bawa: And then, of course, there is nonsurgical penis enlargement. This is what I do at my practice, Bawa Medical in Boca Raton, Florida.

[02:34] What Are PRP and Dermal Fillers?

Dr. Bawa: Before I go to my next frequently asked question about penis enlargement, I would like to answer two related frequently asked questions. Firstly, what is PRP? PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. We derive this from your own blood.

Dr. Bawa: It is a regular blood draw like many you've had in your life. We draw blood from your arm and spin it down into platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, in our centrifuge. This separates the platelet-poor plasma from the platelet-rich plasma. What this means in English is that you now have a very nutrient-dense substance called PRP. Platelets contain growth factors, which stimulate tissue regeneration and healing in the targeted area. Growth factors also stimulate stem cells and even collagen production.

Next comes the question: what is a filler? A filler essentially replaces lost volume. It can be placed all over the body, from the face and neck area to your hands, to your penis. We are also using filler to help women rejuvenate their labia. Who knew, right?

Next comes the question: Dermal filler comes in many forms. Fillers can be made of hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, more commonly known as Sculptra®, PMMA, and even autologous fat injections. Non-hyaluronic-acid fillers can be irreversible.

Next comes the question: Fat injections first involve a small liposuction procedure from somewhere on your body. The issue with fat is that it's unreliable. About 50% to 80% can disappear after you place it back into your body. It can also get lumpy, and these lumps cannot be dissolved. At Bawa Medical, I use hyaluronic acid filler since it is something our body makes naturally and something that is actually reversible.

[05:15] How Nonsurgical Penis Enlargement Works

Next comes the question: Now let's go to the question you really want the answer to, and that is: how does nonsurgical penis enlargement actually work? What is the procedure?

Next comes the question: At Bawa Medical, I use various methods to enlarge your penis nonsurgically. These methods include PRP, which we just discussed, and PRFM, which is platelet-rich fibrin matrix, a stronger form of PRP, as well as hyaluronic acid filler. These are injected onto the surface of the penis, not deep inside it.

Next comes the question: We can also do scrotal enlargement to smooth and enlarge your scrotum, since it too can become saggy and wrinkled over time. Again, who knew, right? So many options. What's a man to do?

[06:17] P-Shot vs. Penis Enlargement

The next question is: are a P-Shot and penis enlargement the same thing? Many, many men ask me this question daily because, let's face it, it's confusing. They both involve the penis. They both involve shots. And it's hard to figure out what is what.

The next question is: The answer is no. A P-Shot and penis enlargement are not the same thing. A P-Shot is where I inject PRFM, platelet-rich fibrin matrix. Again, remember I took that blood, turned it into PRP, and then made the stronger form of PRP and injected that into the penis. This goes into the structure of the penis.

The next question is: This leads to better erections that are harder, last longer, are more sensitive, and so on. While some of the men who've received a P-Shot from me claim to have an increase in size, you must undergo penis enlargement to get any significant increase in penis size.

The next question is: In penis enlargement, we put PRP or PRFM, with or without hyaluronic acid fillers, in the outer layers of the penis. Penis enlargement is more about how your penis looks, and the P-Shot is more about how it works.

[07:42] How Long Does Penis Enlargement Last?

So the next question is: how long will my penis enlargement last? Again, a very good question. At Bawa Medical, I strive to make you bigger naturally in addition to hyaluronic acid fillers that give you the instant gratification and that immediate increase in size.

So the next question is: Yes, you actually walk out with a bigger penis. You don't have to wait several days or several weeks for it to happen. You walk out with a significantly larger penis.

So the next question is: We achieve this by using PRFM, fibrin matrix, the stronger form of PRP, like I mentioned, to promote collagen synthesis in your penis. So we are actually developing collagen, which will naturally thicken your penis over time. That makes this a very unique procedure because you are actually getting better.

So the next question is: And then, of course, the filler makes you bigger immediately and gives you that instant gratification. No two people are alike, but on average, the filler should last at least a year. Then the PRFM will make you develop more collagen and therefore more natural girth, and that effect should last even longer.

[09:02] Side Effects and Recovery

So the next question is: So, what are the side effects of penis enlargement? Honestly, there really are no major side effects with penis enlargement per se the way I do it.

So the next question is: At worst, you may in theory develop some lumpiness. That can be remedied with hyaluronidase, which safely dissolves hyaluronic acid filler. In some cases you may see some very mild swelling or very mild bruising, but that too resolves very quickly.

So the next question is: PRP and PRFM are coming from your tissue, so you really don't have to worry about any allergic reaction to them. And while in theory you could be allergic to hyaluronic acid, I haven't seen one. I promise you, I inject it daily at my practice.

[10:08] When Can You Have Sex or Exercise Again?

So the next question is: A very important question people want to know the answer to is: when can I have sex, doc, after my penis enlargement treatment? I personally recommend waiting at least two weeks to avoid moving the filler out of place. You don't want to let it migrate. That's the term we use in the medical field for when filler goes somewhere it shouldn't.

So the next question is: We don't want it to migrate. We want it to settle and integrate with your tissue, and it really takes two weeks for that to happen. So for the best results long term, avoid sex for two weeks.

So the next question is: We see our patients for facial, penile, and other body filler at their follow-up two weeks after the procedure, and then I examine my patients carefully and clear them for sexual activity. Many of our patients come from overseas or other cities. They fly in and fly out. So in some cases, the follow-up appointment in two weeks is done virtually, and that's fine. As long as I can talk to my patients and, in some cases, see how things are, we're okay even virtually.

So the next question is: Exercise is another big question. When can I exercise after my penis enlargement? The idea remains exactly the same. You don't want it to migrate. It takes two weeks to settle, so I recommend no heavy exercise, running, or lifting for two weeks after your procedure. Again, at follow-up, I would clear you for exercise two weeks later.

[11:42] Why Dr. Bawa Prefers Nonsurgical Enlargement

So the next question is: A few questions ago, I answered the question, what are the side effects? As I mentioned, from occasional - very, very occasional - lumpiness to very occasional mild bruising or very mild swelling, there really are no major side effects.

So the next question is: When you do surgical penis enlargement with implants, be they silicone or metal of some sort, then yes, you do risk nerve damage and you do risk erectile problems from the procedure itself. So, in theory, that procedure can make things worse than they are already at baseline. I am not a fan of surgical penis enlargement at all.

So the next question is: That really also answers my next question, which is: why is nonsurgical penis enlargement better than surgical penis enlargement? I'm asked about an implant called Penuma®. It's not really new, but it's one of the newer implants, and it's made of silicone. They have a good marketing strategy, I'll give them that.

So the next question is: But the idea is still the same. You're cutting the penis open. A lot happens when you cut tissue open. There's a lot that can go wrong, from infection to nerve damage to all kinds of things. Function can suffer. And not to mention, you stay that size at all times.

So the next question is: Nonsurgical penis enlargement increases the size of the flaccid penis, yes, and when you're erect, it's a bigger penis, but you don't walk around with that size. So it doesn't interfere with daily life.

[13:10] Does Penis Enlargement Hurt?

Another big question is: will the injections hurt? It's a very important question. Who wants to be in pain? I don't.

Another big question is: I don't know about other doctors. I hear all kinds of horror stories, honestly, and I see all kinds of things written online in different forums. But at my practice, I do a block, and my patients don't feel pain. It's a very bold claim, I know, but it's one that I can back up when I do the procedure.

Another big question is: These injections don't have to hurt, not at all. We do numbing that is both topical and injectable, but your penis is completely numb before we come at it with any needle, whether it's for a P-Shot or whether it's for enlargement. My patients sometimes fall asleep, believe it or not. They are extremely comfortable. So penis enlargement does not have to hurt.

[14:10] Procedure Time, Work and Cost

The other question I get often is: how long does penis enlargement take? This is an important question, especially for people who are coming in to see me from out of town because they have to plan their trips.

The other question I get often is: Let's just say that the penis enlargement is the shortest part of your trip. It takes us about 30 minutes to numb you, and then it takes me about 20 to 30 minutes for the procedure, and that's it. Some before-and-after pictures, and you're out the door. A lot of our patients just come for a weekend to sunny South Florida, get a bigger penis, and off they go on their merry way.

Another question is: when can I go back to work? You can go back to a desk job the very same day. You can drive yourself home. We are not sedating you in any way. You are not disabled in any way. The only thing I ask you not to do is have sex or do any heavy exercise or running for two weeks. Beyond that, your life doesn't change.

So, the uncomfortable question: how much does penis enlargement cost? I'm sure you can find budget practices everywhere, but you get what you pay for. We use only brand-name hyaluronic acid filler that's U.S.-made. We control quality very closely. The PRP kits we use are FDA-approved, the centrifuge is FDA-approved, and clearly the quality is higher and the platelet yield is higher. Not all PRP is alike.

So, the uncomfortable question: The better your PRP, the better your results. Penis enlargement depends on how much bigger you need to be, and that's a difficult question to answer. It starts at about $1,000 and then it goes up from there based on how big you need to be, how big you want to be, and how big you safely can be. Once I see you, either in a virtual appointment or in the office, that's something we can also discuss.

[15:46] Why Your Partner's Anatomy Matters Too

So, the uncomfortable question: Something men don't often realize is that penis enlargement must also factor in the size of the vagina. Many times the vagina has become loose, and so the penis is appearing to be smaller than it really is because there's no friction.

So, the uncomfortable question: We can help your partner with vaginal laxity, dryness, poor libido, hormonal changes, and all of those issues. We can use the female version of the P-Shot, the O-Shot. We can use acoustic wave therapy. We can do CO2 vaginal tightening.

So, the uncomfortable question: I'm not saying that you don't need the penis enlargement. What I am saying is that the right vaginal state will help your penis enlargement get its best result.

[16:13] Penis Enlargement and Confidence

Penis enlargement: many questions, and I hopefully answered most of them for you. Penis enlargement is seldom just about penis size. I always say that penis enlargement is just as important in the boardroom as it is in the bedroom.

Penis enlargement: Penis enlargement is about pleasure, but it's also about confidence. My patients always strut once they have penis enlargement. They feel better about themselves. And it's not just the men with small or medium-sized penises. Men with large penises want larger penises.
